My Life- Final Project

3. 
A) Identify the different music in your project.- I used like good modern music that I liked.
B) Tell us what songs you used and... - I used the songs Good Riddance because it's one of my favorite songs then We are Family because that's my families favorite song. Then Story of us which i really like and then at the end Life after you because it's a good song! 

C) Why you chose the different pieces.- Because that is the kind of music I like & it fit's with my project

4.Describe how you went about finding your information, pictures, and songs:
A) What kinds of search terms/phrases did you use? (Give some examples.)
B) What search engine(s) do you use most often? I used Google to find most of my  information but some of it I already knew.
C) Did you find any unreliable websites or sources?

5. What different kinds of technology did you use to compile your project? [Web tools, Mac tools, etc...] I used Google, iMovie, iPhoto
6. What are you good at...what went well for you in this project? Finding the pictures.
7. With what did you struggle on this project...what was difficult for you? Figuring out what captions to put underneath all the pictures

A) Did you decide to use still slides? On some i did on some i didn't.
B) Why or why not?  [If not, how did you convey your information?
] Because i wanted it to look cooler.
C) Did you use a consistent theme throughout your movie? Yeah, i did the order of my life because that's how i wanted it to look.

9. Describe how you used video in your project. It was hard for me to find videos so I just used one from cheer camp.

For what other classes, situations, uses could this type of project be adapted?

If you ever have to make a movie for another subject or someday with you job.


11. How did your project use the transformative property of borrowed images, music, and information to comply with the Copyright Law of 1976? [...not just that you cited the information - citing is not enough...tell me how you transformed what you've taken into something new, etc.,How did you transform the music, information, images, etc.? I just stated it differently. 
12. Would you do another project like this on your own? Why? Why not?
Yes because it's fun to make it about your own life.

iMovie Genome Project

iMovie Genome Project

  1. A) Identify your chosen musical genre -Island Music
  2.  & B) say why you chose it. - I chose it because it looked fun to do & I like the Beach Boys. 
  3. Describe how you went about finding your songs and information.  - I just googled songs of the Caribbean Islands & asked my dad for different island music singers. 
  4. What different kinds of technology did you use to compile your project? [Web tools, Mac tools, etc...] - I used the computer & I asked my dad because he knows a lot about music.
  5. What are you good at...what went well for you in this project? - Picking out the videos that went with my genre. 
  6. With what did you struggle on this project...what was difficult for you? - Finding the people because i couldn't find any of them.

iMovie again

iMovie


  1. Post your movie to your blog. Number and answer the following questions:
  2. Identify your team's topic. My teams topic was Cheerleading. 
  3. Describe your role on the team. I helped gather the information as well did Sami because were both cheerleaders & we already knew most about it.
  4. What did you learn from being a part of this team? I learned how to make a movie. 
  5. What went well for you as a team? Creating our project.
  6. What did not go well for you as a team? Everything went well!
  7. Describe the process from storyboarding through the movie creation. Did ideas/concepts/focus change from one kind of technology to the other? If so, how? Nothing really changed besides it being really long and we had a lot of video to put it in & if we could of had more time we would have put in more video.
  8. What new tools and techniques did you learn by doing this project? I just learned like everything about iMovie & also how we shared the documents when we first started making the storyboard.
  9. For what other classes, situations, uses could this type of project be adapted? It could be used in any class that you would ever have to make an iMovie for.
  10. How did you use the transformative property of borrowed images, music, and information to comply with the Copyright Law of 1976?
  11. Would you do another project like this on your own? Why? Why not? Yes, it would be fun. I'm excited to make the iMovie about your life, because it's fun to do & you can make it whatever you want it to be!

movie podcast- blog

1.  What tools and techniques did you use to create your podcast? 
On garage band i used the jingles , crowd clapping & turned my voice up higher. I had to find my pictures   and cite them. 
2.  How could you use a project like this in other classes? 
If you ever had to review something else or make another podcast for another class you would already know how to do it.

3.  In the “real world,” how could podcast projects be used (In what careers/businesses, etc.)? 
If you had to give a review on something. If you were a journalist or a news reporter. 
4.  In this project, what did you get good at doing? 
Figuring out how to cut my music & where my pictures would fit in & cut them on the length.

5. What was the most difficult part of the assignment? 

talking & listening to my own voice.
6.  Would you do a project like this on your own?
no, because it takes alot of time

iphoto project




2. To find my images I just typed in the letter L and then i found a really cool image that looked like a L or i looked up something I liked and used a letter from that.
3. I learned how to use iphoto!
4. If you ever have to make a movie in other projects during school or if one day for a business you would know how too.
5. I like this more because you can do whatever you want with it and make it how you want and use your own pictures.

How to write a charity letter and how to put something from Excel & Word together.
3. What was the easiest part of this project? What was the most difficult part of this project?
Writing the letter was the easiest and the hardest was trying to figure out how to put everything together; the addresses & the actual letter
4. Describe how you might use these skills and apply them to a real-world situation other than writing a charity letter.
If you ever have to make up ideas for a charity event, or need to know how to send to multiple people without writing everything out.


5. Did you learn something new during this project that you did not know before?  If so, what?

1. What is a template?
A template is a model or standard for making comparisons.

2. What functions did your spreadsheet perform?
My spreadsheet shows data comparisons between the different bags of m&ms.

3. What skills did you use/learn in this project?
I learned how to use Microsoft Excel.

4. Describe how you might use these skills and apply them to a real-world situation. 
Incase you get a job where you have to make something using Excel, you learn how it does the math for you and how t set everything up.

expectations!

My expectations for this class is everyone getting good grades, following directions, turning all assignments in on time and learning all new things you can do with the new MacBooks! I want to learn all the shortcuts that you can do, how to use garageband and how to make a movie on imovie and too figure out what all the icons do on a MacBook!
